Missing CRS declaration

A geometry file with no CRS metadata forces an assumption (usually WGS84); if the true CRS differs, every downstream cell assignment is wrong with no detection signal.

Detection

File/feature lacks a .prj, CRS property, or EPSG code; only inferable from coordinate magnitude sanity checks.

Mitigation

Reject files without an explicit CRS at ingest
Sanity-check coordinate range against the assumed CRS's expected bounds before proceeding
